The town's Building Inspections FAQ says: "The foundation company performing the work shall be registered with the Town and obtain a permit. As part of the permit submittal, an original engineer sealed design shall be provided." At final inspection, "a second original sealed letter from the engineer shall be provided to verify repairs were performed to engineered specifications."
